Hacienda del Sol Debuts New Entrance, Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Tucson, ARIZ.— The renowned Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the new road leading to Tucson’s most charming, historic resort – 85 years in the making!

“Our objective was to create an upscale entrance for our guests that compliments the resorts’ ambiance and the quality of our neighborhood,” said Tom Firth, Co-owner of Hacienda del Sol. “We knew how important it was to invest the time and money to do this right. Hacienda del Sol is here to stay.”

Tucsonans are invited to help celebrate with Hacienda del Sol on Tuesday, April 6th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5pm. The lush, inner courtyard will have live jazz music, complimentary champagne, cake and Executive Chef Ramiro Scavo’s Signature Carving Station. There will also be tours of the recently renovated guest rooms, banquet and event areas and Hacienda’s private gardens.

The construction of the new entrance, which took more than eight months to complete, comprised of a complete overhaul including a connection from the main road to the resort with more than 100,000 multi-colored brick pavers and an expanded parking area with an additional 100 parking spaces.

“The Hacienda has needed this entrance since 1929 when it was a finishing school for girls,” said Rick Fink, Co-owner of Hacienda del Sol. “We’re anxious to finally be able to share the finished product with our friends and neighbors.”

Reservations are required to attend the Ribbon-Cutting Event and can be made by calling Hacienda del Sol at 520-299-1501.
